ABOUT HAYLEY
Hayley Elwood is sharing her passion for live games, journalism, and storytelling as a reporter, host, and writer with her extensive experience working in the sports media industry.
She is the Chargers' team reporter, where her work encompasses preseason sideline reporting, sit down interviews, feature packages, and hosting the team's weekly television show. She also created a podcast called Playmakers, the first of its kind at the NFL club level, which focuses on female figures in the sports world. Additionally, she has contributed to the team's editorial content focusing on feature stories, game recaps, listicles, and more.
For the NFL, Hayley has hosted multiple Super Bowls and Drafts focusing on the events' blend of sports and pop culture. She was the only club reporter picked to host alongside NFL Network talent.
At Super Bowl LVI in Los Angeles, Hayley was the main host, leading all pregame and in-game coverage. For other Super Bowls, she's hosted Opening Night, the pregame tailgate show, and contributed to coverage throughout the game.
At the NFL Draft, she's been part of the league's onstage coverage flexing her versatility from sports to entertainment by interviewing notable figures including NFL legends and pop culture superstars.
She also has hosted many events for the NFL Foundation and EVERFI.
Moving to the NBA, Hayley's had multiple stints hosting for the Los Angeles Lakers, returning in 2024 after previously spending the 2015 season with the team, where duties included hosting the team's pregame show, LakersTV, reporting live, reading PAs, and hosting contests.
Hayley began her career as an intern for EAG Sports Management. Additionally, she's worked as a field reporter and writer covering football recruiting for FOX Sports Next and Scout Media.
She is a proud graduate of UC San Diego with a degree in communication.
